Job summary

Terracon in the Mid-Atlantic North Region is seeking a Certified Industrial Hygienist to lead complex IH projects across Blue Bell, Moorestown or Somerset offices. You will conduct site investigations, develop sampling strategies, evaluate results and present findings to clients, while mentoring junior staff and shaping safety programs.

You will also help drive regional growth, research regulatory standards, and ensure compliant, high-quality deliverables for corporate and federal clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science or related field.
• Minimum 8–11 years’ experience; Master’s/PhD preferred.
• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification required.
• Ability to become Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer.

Responsibilities

• Investigate sites to identify physical and environmental risks; perform field studies and assessments.
• Develop sampling strategies and support regional growth across MANR and national clients.
• Evaluate sampling results, prepare risk assessment reports, and present findings to clients.
• Lead safety efforts, promote a safe work environment, and mentor staff.
• Drive quality monitoring and ensure high-quality project and proposal deliveries.
• Provide technical direction and training to less experienced staff.
• Contribute to marketing efforts and client relationship building across sectors.
