Job summary

The Voluntary Protection Programs Participants' Association, Inc seeks a Certified Industrial Hygienist to lead final IH report reviews and guide environmental health staff at NASA Kennedy Space Center. Qualifications

• CIH certification and a relevant science degree are required.
• Eight+ years of IH experience and project management responsibilities.
• Flexible schedule with potential off-shift and weekend work to support hurricanes, launches, and emergencies.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to interpret OSHA and NASA requirements and communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform the final review of IH reports for accuracy and quality.
• Provide IH program direction and training to Environmental Health Specialists.
• Manage IH surveys, projects, and programs for aerospace activities at NASA KSC.
• Lead and coordinate launch IH support and contingency planning.
• Review procedures to identify and control health or safety hazards.
