Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking an experienced Chip Software Project Manager to coordinate software planning, development, and validation for next-generation SOCs used across Automotive, Data Center, Embedded and Mobile products.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage external partner engagements, drive bring-up, validation and productization, and ensure on-time delivery while aligning with safety standards where required.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in related areas with at least 4+ years of management experience.
  • Deep understanding of the software development life cycle.
  • Proven software technical project management in a matrix organization.
  • Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture: CPU, memory, buses and interconnects, OS and drivers.
  • Experience managing programs spanning external partner engagement and internal delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement all aspects of software planning and completion for SOC chips; coordinate software POR, pre-silicon development, validation, bring-up and productization.
  • Develop workflows for SOC partner validation programs, handling engagement, onboarding, test execution and result publication across partners.
  • Build strategic partner connections; act as main program contact to improve execution efficiency across companies.
  • Drive simulation and emulation POR planning and scheduling with teams to build a prioritized plan.
  • Ensure teams produce collaterals for the Software Product Life Cycle and develop software complying with safety standards when applicable.
  • Schedule and lead status meetings; communicate progress across multiple software teams and locations.
  • Partner with platform teams to define, prioritize, and execute bring-up of custom requirements.
