Job summary

Vantage is hiring a Critical Support Specialist (Chiller CSS SME) for on‑site work at a data center. You will perform specialized maintenance on critical systems such as low/medium voltage electrical Infrastructure, UPS, generators, and HVAC, ensuring uptime and reliability for customers.

You will lead complex tasks, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years direct hands‑on experience in mission‑critical maintenance.
• Knowledge of Low/Medium Voltage, UPS, generators, HVAC systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints and manuals.
• Formal specialized training in UPS, generators or chiller systems.
• Current professional licensure or certification relevant to the specialty.
• Willingness to travel 15–20% domestically and internationally; background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized maintenance tasks within your area of expertise.
• Lead complex maintenance projects with minimal supervision.
• Respond to safety incidents and maintain a secure work environment.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on initiatives.
• Mentor junior technicians and contribute to SOPs and training.
• Maintain detailed records in CMMS and contribute to documentation.
