Job summary

Roblox is seeking a Senior Child Safety Intelligence Analyst to protect young users by identifying and disrupting threats at scale. You will combine OSINT, data science, and behavioral analysis to uncover evolving risks to minors across the platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in criminology, data analytics, cybersecurity, international relations, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years of experience in Trust & Safety, Threat Intelligence, Digital Forensics, or Cybercrime Investigations.
• Experience identifying sources for intelligence collection to identify risks in a gaming or social platform environment.
• Proficiency in SQL or Python to query large datasets and isolate behavioral anomalies.

Responsibilities

• Intelligence and Threat Collection: Proactively hunt threats by monitoring the platform and external channels to map threat actors, evasion techniques, and emerging trends.
• Data and Signal Development: Analyze text, voice, assets, in-game economies, and social dynamics to translate findings into automated signals.
• Product Risk Advisory: Support the development of new platform features by identifying minor safety vulnerabilities before launch.
• Metrics and Reporting: Author threat briefings and intelligence products for Safety leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Third-Party Partnerships: Represent Roblox externally with NGOs and partners, and support outside intelligence gathering.
• Mentoring: Coach junior teammates on analytic tradecraft and intelligence work.
