Children's Hospital Colorado seeks a Child Life Manager to lead the child life team, shape program policies, and evaluate care within a multidisciplinary setting. You will apply evidence-based practices to protect the emotional safety of patients and families and collaborate with leaders across campuses to support organizational goals.

The role requires a Master’s degree and a minimum of five years in pediatric child life services, including leadership experience, with a CCLS certification

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Child Life, Child Development, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Education or related field.
• Five (5) years of experience in providing child life services in a healthcare setting with one (1) year in a leadership role.
• Certification as a Child Life Specialist (CCLS)

Responsabilités

• Manages daily department operations, ensuring policies, procedures, and guidelines are followed.
• Establishes performance metrics and collaborates with Supervisors to improve outcomes.
• Leads staffing decisions including hiring and promotions.
• Develops and communicates departmental strategic plans and annual goals.
• Represents the department in senior leadership meetings and leads research projects.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and department budget constraints.
• Resolves escalated, complex operational and patient/family issues.
