Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent experience.
• Experience in regulatory services such as inspections and investigations preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to navigate Texas laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitors licensed child-care facilities and cites deficiencies.
• Investigates complaints and conducts risk assessments.
• Evaluates new applications for facilities and issues permits.
• Provides training and technical assistance to providers.
• Responds to emergency complaints and performs follow-up actions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
