Job summary

Constellation Energy Corp. seeks a Senior Chemist to lead chemistry programs at the Clean Energy Center. You will review data, monitor performance, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and quality control.

The role includes mentoring staff, managing budgets, overseeing vendors, and delivering training. Occasional travel and emergency response duties are required to support company needs while developing future leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related physical science with 5 years of related experience in Chemistry.
• Associate's degree in related physical science with 7 years of related experience in Chemistry.
• Chemistry Technician qualification or Navy ELT with 5 years of related experience in Chemistry.
• High school diploma/GED with 9 years of directly related experience, with focus in operations, chemistry, or radwaste.
• Maintain minimum access requirements and favorable medical examination/testing.

Responsibilities

• Review chemistry data and lead performance improvements across programs.
• Communicate chemistry issues and needs with management and departments.
• Provide input to performance indicators and budgets.
• Oversee chemistry vendors and contracts.
• Prepare and manage budgets for chemistry programs.
• Lead corrective action input and work management meetings.
• Lead special projects and provide training and mentoring.
• Participate in Emergency Response Organization and duty rotation.
• Develop others as backups and drive strategic direction for CEC.
