Edwards Lifesciences in Draper, UT, is seeking a Principal Chemist to advance analytical chemistry for extracts and leachables in medical devices. You will lead method development, validation, and complex investigations using LC-MS, GC-MS, and ICP-MS.

You will mentor staff, drive CAPA and root-cause analyses, and collaborate across manufacturing, quality, and R&D to ensure compliant, robust testing and lifecycle management of methods and instruments.

Formación

• Bachelor's or higher in Chemistry with extensive MS unknowns analysis experience.
• Experience with structural elucidation of extractables/leachables is required.
• On-site presence and up to 25% travel.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and validate methods for extractables/leachables using HPLC-MS, GC-MS, and ICP-MS.
• Perform structural elucidation of extracts and leachables by mass spectrometry.
• Lead technical direction across multiple lab workstreams and review complex data.
• Provide root-cause analysis, CAPA, and corrective actions for investigations.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
