Job summary

WuXi AppTec Group is seeking a Senior Scientific Analyst in Cheminformatics AI/ML to integrate chemistry, cheminformatics, pharmaceutics and machine learning for in-depth analysis of synthetic chemistry and related markets.

You will build scalable search, ingest data, enable similarity analytics, and develop agentic AI workflows that combine literature, data analysis and computational tools, collaborating with technical leaders on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; PhD preferred; 2+ years in pharma/biotech setting.
• Strong expertise in cheminformatics toolkits and scalable data engineering/search.
• Experience applying machine learning and agentic AI in drug/pharma analysis.
• Adequate knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and CRDMO ecosystem.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and enable efficient search/analytics across large chemical databases and datasets.
• Develop and apply agentic AI solutions for drug and pipeline analytics.
• Stay updated with trends in computational chemistry and ML for pharma.
