Job summary

Fluidstack is building civilization-scale AI infrastructure and seeks a manufacturing engineer to own chassis fabrication, develop routings, and drive cost and yield improvements. You will formulate PFMEA-driven plans, write practical work instructions, and lead line launches for weld-heavy production.

The role demands hands-on ownership, the ability to push through data-driven improvements, and collaboration across hardware and software teams in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as manufacturing engineer in heavy fabrication or weldment production.
• Ability to write work instructions operators actually use.
• Experience launching fabrication lines or major process changes to increase rate.
• Knowledge of PFMEAs to predict real failures.
• Ability to reduce cycle time on a trusted process.

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing engineering for chassis fabrication and related processes.
• Develop process plans: routings, work instructions, fixtures, and cycle times for weld-heavy fabrication.
• Launch new lines and revisions with PFMEAs and ramp curves.
• Drive yield and cost improvements using weekly data reviews.
