Qualifications

• Master of Divinity or equivalent from an accredited theological school.
• Clinical pastoral education experience may be required.
• Ordination as priest, minister or rabbi with ecclesiastical endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Organize, develop and monitor a comprehensive multi-faith religious program for inmates.
• Supervise Chaplain II.
• Provide weekly worship, sacraments, crisis counseling, pastoral counseling, visitation, religious education and related activities.
• Collaborate with religious volunteers from various denominations and faith groups.
• Work with institutional operations, program and administrative staff.
