Job summary

BetterUp is seeking a Senior Channel Partnerships Manager, Go-to-Market to build and scale a partner program with strategic technology partners across Workday, SAP, Google, and Microsoft. This role stands up the partner strategy, processes, and relationships from the ground up, reporting to the SVP, Channel Partnerships.

You’ll own partner strategy, executive relationships, and joint business plans; lead GTM for new product launches; embed partners into account planning; and create enablement

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience managing technology partnerships or channel go-to-market motions.
• Experience building and managing relationships with senior and C-level executives at partner companies.
• Experience launching partner go-to-market programs, including co-sell motions and joint account planning.
• Experience working cross-functionally across sales, marketing, product, and operations.
• Drives functional strategy for AI adoption, identifying transformational opportunities that create competitive advantage.
• Transforms core business processes through strategic AI integration (e.g., marketing automation, sales intelligence, operations efficiency).

Responsibilities

• Own strategic partnerships across HCM platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP), technology platforms (e.g., Google, Microsoft), consulting firms, and global systems integrators, from origination through launch.
• Build the partner program from the ground up, including partner selection criteria, engagement processes, and operating structure where none currently exist.
• Build executive relationships with partner leadership focused on long‑term business value.
• Define joint business plans with measurable goals for pipeline, revenue, and market expansion.
• Lead go-to-market planning for new product launches into the partner ecosystem, and build co‑sell motions that bring partners into the sales cycle earlier.
• Work with Sales to embed partners into account planning and strategic pursuits.
• Work with Marketing and Product Marketing on joint messaging, case studies, and campaign assets.
• Build partner enablement programs so partner sales teams can represent BetterUp accurately and confidently.
• Run recurring partner operating cadences, including executive business reviews and quarterly planning.
• Surface partner feedback and ecosystem trends to leadership on a regular basis.
• Partner with Product, Customer Success, Legal, and Finance to resolve partner issues and translate partner input into product and GTM decisions.
• Define and track metrics for partner health, including partner‑sourced pipeline, partner‑influenced revenue, and executive engagement, and assess where BetterUp should invest further.

The Opportunity

BetterUp is building its Channel partnership motion from the ground up — starting with strategic technology partners like Workday, SAP, Microsoft, Google. This role is responsible for building that function from the ground up: standing up the partner strategy, processes, and relationships where none exist today, and turning them into a repeatable go-to-market motion that drives the pipeline. This is a backfill role reporting to the SVP, Channel Partnerships.

What you’ll do:

• Partner strategy: Own strategic partnerships across HCM platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP), technology platforms (e.g., Google, Microsoft), consulting firms, and global systems integrators, from origination through launch.
• Program build: Build the partner program from the ground up, including partner selection criteria, engagement processes, and operating structure where none currently exist.

Hybrid Work Policy & Hub Locations

BetterUp is a hybrid company that values in-person collaboration. Our US hub locations include: Austin, TX; New York City, NY; San Francisco, CA; and the Arlington, VA.

• Hybrid Expectation: You will be expected to work from your local office at least 2 days per week (or 8 days per month) and should be able to realistically commit to this structure before applying. This hybrid role will require travel up to 25% of the time for client engagements.
• If you are not located near a hub: You will work as a fully remote employee. This remote role will require travel up to 50% of the time for client engagements and internal BetterUp purposes.
