Stout in Chicago seeks an experienced CFO Advisory professional to lead engagements with private equity-backed and corporate clients, driving finance transformation, working capital optimization, and strategic value creation.

You will partner with CFOs and senior leaders, develop actionable recommendations, and mentor junior staff while contributing to business development and practice growth.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in finance transformation, management consulting, operational improvement, corporate finance, or transaction-related value creation.
• MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred.
• Experience within a consulting or advisory environment, corporate finance leadership role, private equity portfolio operations team, or similar setting.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex finance and operational transformation initiatives.
• Experience supporting private equity-backed businesses, post-acquisition integration, or value creation programs preferred.
• Industry experience may include manufacturing, consumer products, distribution, healthcare, business services, and other operationally complex environments.
• CPA is not required; emphasis is placed on financial, operational, and transformation expertise.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with CFOs and exec teams to develop and execute finance transformation initiatives.
• Lead finance transformation and performance improvement engagements across finance, operations, and strategy.
• Evaluate and improve working capital management, including inventory optimization and order-to-cash processes.
• Identify and implement SG&A cost reduction opportunities through assessments and process improvements.
• Develop margin improvement initiatives through profitability analysis and cost structure reviews.
• Support post-close value creation, including synergy realization and strategic transformation execution.
• Assess finance functions and operating models to boost efficiency and scalability.
• Develop financial models and performance metrics to support executive decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to improve financial visibility and accountability.
• Serve as trusted advisor to CFOs and executives, presenting findings and plans.
• Manage multiple client engagements, including scope, budgets, and timelines.
• Mentor and develop junior professionals and provide coaching.
• Participate in business development: identifying opportunities and proposals.
• Identify opportunities to use AI-enabled tools to improve analysis and processes.
• Contribute to growth of Stout's CFO Advisory practice through thought leadership and relationships.
