Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking a Simulation Engineer to apply CFD, heat transfer and combustion modeling to evaluate battery fires, gas explosions and performance-based fire safety designs. The role centers on FLACS for deflagration and gas dispersion and FDS for fire dynamics and thermal impact.

You will support battery fire testing, code compliance and customer-facing projects within the energy and built-environment sectors.

Qualifications

• Strong CFD, heat transfer and combustion background.
• Experience with high-fidelity fire and explosion modeling.
