Job summary

Annotation Academy seeks a freelancer to help train and evaluate AI agents on expert-level fluid simulation tasks. You will take CAD geometry, set up and run simulations, build verified reference solutions, and write Python checks for the agent's results.

Work fully remote with flexible hours. The project expects about 10–20 hours per week during active phases, and compensation can be up to $69 per hour depending on level and pace of contribution.

Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field such as energy or oil & gas. A PhD is preferred but not required.
• Several years of hands-on industry or research CFD with OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX or STAR-CCM+, including meshing.
• Solid verification and validation practice: mesh-independence studies, and validation against experiment or benchmarks.
• Comfortable with Python and GitHub.
• English at B2 level or above.
• Nice to have: aerospace, automotive, offshore or turbomachinery background; multiphase or particle-laden flow experience.
