Location: Land O' Lakes, Pasco County, FL

Salary: $36,420.80 Annual

All SCNAs working 2nd or 3rd shift may be eligible for .50¢ hourly shift differential.

OPS SCNA (WW) Weekend Warrior positions available at the rate of $19.06/hour. The eligible shifts are weekdays Monday to Friday, 3PM to 11PM, 11PM to 7AM, and all shifts that fall on a weekend – Saturday and Sunday. You must work at least one weekend shift per pay period.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Must have current Florida Certified Nursing Assistant Certification.
  2. Must have current CPR Certification.
  3. Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft WORD, Outlook, Excel, etc.
  4. Must be willing and able to work weekends and holidays, as needed.
  5. Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Fluency in the English Language: Reading, Writing, Speaking & Understanding.
  8. Successful completion of the due diligence process to include, but not limited to, a Level II background check and drug test.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Experience in long-term care or 120 bed skilled nursing facility.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The incumbent for the Senior Certified Nursing Assistant (SCNA) position is responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents of the Baldomero Lopez State Veterans' Nursing Home of Florida, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with facility policies and procedures. Incumbent will provide assistance with all aspects of resident care as assigned by the shift supervisor, including activities of daily living, ambulation, and mobility in the facility. Respond promptly and courteously when answering call lights.
