The ideal candidate has a JD from an ABA-accredited school, an active license, 10+ years in complex litigation, and 8+ years in CERCLA matters; strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills; and a track record mentoring junior attorneys.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from ABA-accredited law school and active license.
• 10+ years litigating complex cases, including 8+ years in CERCLA (Superfund).
• Excellent legal research and writing with proven success.
• Experience managing multiple complex cases concurrently.
• State and federal court litigation experience.
• Ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
• Strong communication with clients, opposing counsel and team.
• Experience taking and defending depositions; hearings and trials.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple complex cases concurrently with urgency.
• Lead CERCLA (Superfund) litigation and discovery management.
• Prepare and litigate cases from start to finish.
• Draft pleadings and complex motions and responses.
• Identify and retain experts; assist in report preparation.
• Take and defend depositions of various witnesses.
• Perform legal research, draft briefs, and argue motions.
• Lead hearings and complex trials across multiple states.
