Location and Job Title

Senior Center Assistant and Manager – Marjorie & Lewis Katz JCC, 501 North Jerome Avenue, Margate City, NJ 08402.

Principal Responsibilities

The Katz JCC maintains seven Senior Centers throughout Atlantic County and is seeking Meal Site Managers for two locations. The centers operate Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 2:00 pm and serve approximately 20–30 seniors (age 60+). The Manager coordinates daily meal counts, orders supplies, organizes volunteers, maintains a welcoming environment, and deposits daily donations to a local bank. Compensation: $15 / hr.

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Experience: At least one year working with seniors (60+). Food service experience is a plus. Bi‑lingual encouraged.

Computer Skills: Ability to create and maintain a monthly calendar and proficient use of email.

• Organized and able to keep thorough records.
• Ability to motivate others and work with a team.
• Must provide proof of COVID‑19 vaccination.
• Must pass a background check.

Salary

$25,000 – $35,000 per year.
