Job summary

GEARS Kids Center in Elizabethtown is seeking a part-time Senior Center Activity Assistant to aid in organizing programs for seniors aged 60 and over. Responsibilities include overseeing daily activities, supervising volunteers, and ensuring effective communication with participants.

The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office and preferably experience working with older adults. A flexible schedule is essential, and certifications in CPR/First Aid and ServSafe are preferred. This role offers a starting salary of $13.00/hr.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Publisher and Outlook.
• Ready to learn and use the Co-pilot online data tracking system.
• Preferred experience working with older adults.

Responsibilities

• Assist with organizing and implementing recreational, educational, and social activities for seniors.
• Oversee and participate actively in daily programming at the senior center.
• Supervise work assignments of participants and community volunteers.

Skills
