Job summary

Compass, Inc. seeks a CDO Governance and Policy Writer to develop and maintain enterprise data governance policies for NGA’s Chief Data Office. You will collaborate with data stewards and leadership to mature data governance capabilities and enterprise data-sharing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Expert-level experience developing enterprise data governance policies, standards and procedures.
• Expert-level experience maintaining policy guidance for data stewardship, IAM, and data sharing.
• Experience in policy artifacts, lifecycle management, and audit remediation.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain governance policies, standards, and procedures.
• Interpret policy issues, coordinate with stakeholders, and provide guidance.
• Ensure compliance with laws, directives, and standards.
• Create and maintain the CDO policy library and artifact lifecycle.
• Lead rapid implementation of the Enterprise Metadata Governance Platform.
