Job summary

Rumble is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (CDN) to design and maintain the core network infra for our video platform and services. You will lead efforts to build fault-tolerant, scalable infrastructure and optimize routing, caching, and load balancing while documenting changes and collaborating with the team.

The role requires expert networking experience, DNS management, Linux proficiency, and scripting skills, with on-call duties and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant network experience.
• Deep DNS architecture and deployment experience.
• Strong Python/Bash/Perl scripting for automation.
• Production Linux systems experience.
• Excellent troubleshooting and incident response.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to document network designs and configurations.
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and support the Content Distribution Network and DNS infrastructure.
• Build fault-tolerant infrastructure at a fast pace.
• Improve routing, caching, load balancing, and capacity planning.
• Document improvements and collaborate with the team.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
• Occasional travel as needed.
