Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensures accurate DRG assignment and SOI/ROM reflection through chart reviews.
• Direct and timely follow-up with clinicians for documentation clarification.
• Read AHIMA guidelines and stay current with coding clinics and CMS guidance.
• Identify and address DRG downgrades/denial risks and improve documentation quality.
• Collaborate with coding, CDI team, and clinical staff to ensure compliant documentation.
