Job summary

Entergy Louisiana, Sterlington, LA, seeks a Production Technician III-CRO to operate and maintain a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) facility, ensuring safety and continuous performance improvement through procedures and teamwork.

Minimum requirements include a 2-year associate degree or equivalent experience. The role involves 12-hour shifts (days/nights), progression through a multi-skill plan, and readiness to support outages and storms as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-year associate degree in Industrial Electronics, Instrumentation/Controls or Production/Process Technology or equivalent experience.
• PTECH III: 0-2 years’ experience in a CCGT facility in an Operations or Maintenance position; or 4 years of power plant operations/maintenance/electrical experience.
• PTECH II – CRO, SR: 2-5 years’ experience in a CCGT facility in an Operations or Maintenance position; or 5 years of power plant operations/maintenance/electrical experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain plant systems safely and efficiently.
• Participate in safety meetings and ensure Contractor Safety orientations as needed.
• Interpret plant data, perform troubleshooting, calibrations, and inspections of instrumentation and electrical equipment.
• Operate control board, run operational rounds, and monitor HRSG water chemistry and CEMS calibrations.
• Conduct PM/PDM activities and support regulatory compliance.
