Job summary

Inquis Medical, Inc. is seeking a Principal R&D Engineer to lead design, development, and documentation of catheter systems through concept to commercialization. You will guide subsystems, optimize materials and construction, and work across R&D, manufacturing, and quality to ensure robust solutions.

You will bring 8+ years in medical device engineering, expert catheter design skills (incl. >16F), and strong experience with design controls and GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years engineering experience with catheter design.
• Hands-on experience developing complex catheter systems (>16F).
• BS or MS in Engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and documentation of catheter systems.
• Translate user needs into design requirements and robust solutions.
• Define verification/validation strategies and perform testing.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams.
