Job Summary

The Catering Manager (sales and operations) is responsible for executing all catering events successfully. This includes supervising sales and event order communications, scheduling and training service staff, planning, delivery, setup, cleanup, and proper invoicing for all daily events.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • A.S. or equivalent experience
  • General Hospitality knowledge and interest in sustainability and sustainable food practices
  • At least two years of similar work experience
  • Ability to interact with diverse and high-volume customer base in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Ability to operate web-based ordering systems, process customer requests, order changes, menu updates, and client profiles
  • Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Ability to write professional and efficient emails to clients and customers
  • Ability to meet company-specific uniform standards
  • Utilize all Personal Protective Equipment as per company guidelines
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and problem-solve effectively
  • This position supervises 5-10 hourly employees, including delivery and culinary staff
