Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in supply chain, business, finance, mathematics or other quantitative discipline.
• Minimum four years work experience in sourcing or related field; advanced degree may offset experience.
• Excellent analytical skills and proficiency with current technology tools and data analysis.
• Proven interpersonal, written, and oral communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads development and execution of enterprise-wide category management strategies (sourcing, supplier relationship management, diversity, risk).
• Develops sourcing strategies for complex categories using FedEx methodology and benchmarks.
• Interacts with executives and stakeholders; drives negotiations with suppliers for significant impact.
• Leads large cross-functional initiatives and demonstrates project management and problem-solving skills.
