Job summary

Venture Global LNG in Houston seeks a Category Manager – Operations & Maintenance Support to lead sourcing strategies for catalysts, chemicals, rentals and repairs, partnering with Projects, Operations and Pipeline teams to meet project schedules and budgets.

This role requires deep knowledge of procurement, frame agreements, NDAs, vendor pre-qualification, and the ability to negotiate favorable terms while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in procurement/sourcing/supply chain for complex projects.
• Expertise in direct material purchasing categories (Electrical, Mechanical, Rotating, Rental or Fabricated Equipment).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive value across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of procurement strategies for operations and maintenance materials, repairs and rentals.
• Apply advanced supply chain techniques to maximize value and ensure best practices.
• Issue NDAs with potential bidders/vendors as required.
• Lead vendor pre-qualification, develop and execute Frame Agreements, and issue Purchase Orders or complex contracts.
