Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales, marketing or similar roles.
• Previous experience in the electrical distribution market is a plus.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and detail-oriented.
• Team-first mentality with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Strong analytical and commercial skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
• Good PC skills including Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support Category Management projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Supplier partners as needed.
• Review Associate and Analyst work when applicable.
• Evaluate large data sets, identify trends, solicit feedback and propose solutions.
• Support standard cost strategy to maintain costs by product group and geography.
• Analyze repeat non-stock orders and recommend new part numbers.
• Create/Update/Withdraw existing part numbers.
• Develop and execute e-commerce pricing strategy with the digital team.
• Help manage relationships with key suppliers.
• Identify product/process cost improvement opportunities.
• Assist in marketing collateral development.
• Assist in collecting and maintaining product information.
