The University of Miami School of Law offers a varied JD and graduate curriculum. Located in Coral Gables, Florida, the university is part of the South Florida region, a diverse, multicultural area with a tropical climate, vibrant entertainment, abundant outdoor activities, and a variety of nearby neighborhoods.
The Librarian Assistant Professor; Assistant Library Director for Collection Services plans, organizes, and supervises the services and activities in the department, including cataloging, metadata, serials, database and electronic resource management, preservation, processing, acquisitions, and collection development. This person also supervises the related staff and manages the successful operation of the department.
Candidates must also have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; a strong service philosophy; and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with people from varied backgrounds.
