Job summary

Technologent is seeking a highly skilled Cassandra DBA / Engineer to design, build, optimize, and support enterprise Cassandra platforms. The role partners with development, infrastructure, architecture, and operations teams to deliver scalable, high-performing data solutions.

Strong backup/recovery, automation, and cloud experience are required. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of Cassandra DB experience, cluster management skills, and a passion for resilience and performance.

Qualifications

7+ years of professional experience in Cassandra DB administration or engineering.
Experience designing, deploying, and tuning highly available Cassandra clusters in production.
Strong knowledge of Cassandra architecture, replication, data modeling, and multi-DC deployments.
Proficient in automation, backup/recovery, monitoring, and JVM/system tuning.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and optimize Cassandra clusters across enterprise environments.
Maintain stability, availability, and performance of Cassandra platforms.
Perform capacity planning, tuning, and troubleshooting for latency and throughput improvements.
Automate admin tasks and deployment workflows using Python, Shell, and Ansible.
Collaborate with development, infra, and ops teams to ensure resilient data platforms.
Implement backup/restore strategies and disaster recovery testing.
