Job summary

Sidley Austin LLP is seeking a Cash Applications Senior Coordinator (10AM-6PM) to ensure accurate application of client payments and maintain AR processes in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years work experience in a related cash application function.
• Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Process daily incoming payments (wires, ACH, checks) and apply them to client accounts in 3E.
• Research and resolve unidentified or misapplied payments in coordination with billing and AR staff and clients.
• Maintain the firm’s daily cash receipts log and ensure timely postings.
• Reconcile daily deposits and record collections in the dashboard.
• Respond to inquiries regarding payment status and application.
• Support supervisor with ad hoc projects and reporting.
