Job summary

Centene Management Company LLC is seeking a Cash Processing/Accounts Receivable Associate to enter, post, and reconcile daily cash receipts using the Peradigm Payment System. You will establish member EFTs, process refunds, and maintain EFT master files.

The role requires an Associate's degree and 2+ years in accounting or AR, with on-site training in Tampa. You will train staff, manage unapplied payments, and ensure accurate postings in treasury and banking systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in general accounting or accounts receivable.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and EFT/payment systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter, upload, and post daily cash receipts and EFT files.

Job description

Position Purpose

Enters, uploads, and posts daily cash receipts and transmits EFT files to banks. Establishes member bank account information for account drafts, sets up new member EFTs, and balances daily receipts with system postings.

Performs daily cash receipt reconciliations against Treasury cash reports and bank deposits using bank uploads and downloads data into the Peradigm Payment System. Processes refunds, makes member account adjustments, and maintains member EFT master files within the banking system.

Coordinates EFT member set up, termination and maintenance in banking systems according to established procedures. Posts premium payments in Peradigm Payment System according to established procedures. Processes SSA member tansactions and cash posting for CAID utilizing good judgement to determine approved non premium transactions.

Reconciles daily cash logs to Peradigm and daily treasury notifications on a daily and monthly bases. Data enters all approved refunds and member account Adjustments in Peradigm.

Runs open unapplied payment reports, initiate action on unidentified payments and updates/posts all prepayments for new members. Trains new and existing staff. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards.

Key Details

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Candidates must reside within the continental United States, with preference given to those located in the Tampa, Florida area. Candidates residing in the Tampa area may be expected to attend onsite training and work onsite; candidates residing outside the Tampa area will not be required to commute to the office.

Education / Experience

Pay Range

$19.43 - $32.98 per hour
