Job summary

Center for Human Development in Torrington and Waterbury, CT, is seeking a Senior RSP Caseworker to join our Residential Supports Programs. The role involves providing flexible, recovery-oriented support to adults with mental health and co-occurring disorders, with travel between offices.

You will help clients access housing, services, and community supports, aiming for independent living while maintaining professional boundaries.

Qualifications

• Experience with psychiatric disorders and co-occurring populations is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to travel between Torrington and Waterbury offices to support clients.
• Must have reliable, registered & insured vehicle and valid driving record.
• Approved CORI background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a supportive relationship to clients with mental health/substance use needs.
• Assist clients to live independently in the community.
• Support program operations and coverage when staff are short.
