Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Carpenter 2 to perform concrete and finish carpentry on diverse projects, from foundations to finishes. You will work with forming, rebar, and precise finishing, supporting project teams throughout the build cycle.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in specific trade (Required)
• 2+ years commercial construction experience (Preferred)
• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
• Apprentice and/or Vocational/Technical/Trade training (Preferred)
• In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex carpentry tasks in concrete carpentry and reinforcement or finish carpentry on a variety of projects.
• Set forms for concrete, placement of concrete, and finishing with floats and trowels.
• Install safety railings, doors, frames, hardware, and general carpentry elements.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and JE Dunn safety policies.
• Support project teams with layout, framing, blocking, and site-specific tasks.
• Maintain tools and PPE compliance and work with various project phases.
