Job summary

The Kensington Sierra Madre is seeking compassionate caregivers to join a family-like team dedicated to loving and caring for residents in a pet-friendly community. The role emphasizes safety, privacy, and personalized care for seniors, with opportunities for growth and supportive training.

Starting wage is $20.00 per hour for a full-time AM shift (7:00am - 3:00pm). Benefits include health, dental & vision insurance, paid vacation, meals & uniforms, and employee support programs.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as Nurse Assistant or Caregiver preferred.
• Ability to read/write English and follow instructions.
• Flexible hours including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Maximize residents' quality of life by respecting privacy and encouraging participation in activities.
• Assist residents in bed/ chair transfers using proper techniques; help with repositioning.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene as needed.
• Assist with dining, serve meals, and document intake of nourishment.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident suites and report housekeeping needs.
• Document resident care and communicate changes to managers and families.
• Attend trainings and participate in professional development.
