Job summary
Charter Senior Living in Jackson, TN is seeking a caring Caregiver / Resident Care Associate to support residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care neighborhoods. You will help with daily activities, provide companionship, and uphold the community's mission of enhancing the human spirit.
Ideal candidates bring prior caregiver or senior living experience, compassionate and dependable nature, and strong teamwork.
Qualifications
- Previous caregiver, CNA, PCA, HHA, or senior living experience preferred.
- Assisted living or memory care experience a plus.
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient demeanor.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for serving seniors and enhancing quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Support resident care plans and individualized needs.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, dressing, grooming, and bathing.
- Observe and report changes in resident condition.
- Document care and services provided.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
- Work collaboratively with nursing staff and community leadership.
- Help create meaningful experiences for residents each day.
