Visiting Angels is seeking a compassionate Companion Caregiver to support senior clients at home across the local area. You’ll assist with daily living activities, light housekeeping, and mobility, while promoting independence and dignity.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Reliable transportation to client visits.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response.
• A heart for vulnerable people seeking meaningful companionship.
• Willingness to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards.
• 1+ year of caregiving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal planning/prep with clients.
• Encourage and assist with exercise and mobility goals.
• Promote adherence to prescribed medications and schedules.
• Assist with shopping and groceries; may shop on behalf of clients.
• Support transportation to appointments and activities as needed.
• Provide compassionate companionship and monitor client well-being.
