Visiting Angels of New Braunfels is hiring an Experienced Caregiver to support clients in the local area, including Seguin, Cibolo, Live Oak, Schertz, Universal City, and surrounding towns.

This role offers flexible schedules, weekly pay, benefits such as health insurance, continuing education opportunities, a sign-on bonus, and more. You will assist with personal care, light housekeeping, medications prompts, meals, mobility, and companionship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Reliable transportation to client visits.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response.
• A heart for vulnerable people seeking meaningful companionship.
• Willingness to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Manage light housekeeping tasks.
• Encourage clients to meet exercise and fitness goals.
• Prompt clients to take prescribed medications on time.
• Help with shopping and putting away groceries or shop for them.
• Plan and prepare meals in collaboration with clients.
• Assist with mobility and ambulation, including doctor visits and walks.
