Responsibilities include personal care, light housekeeping, social engagement, and accurate progress reporting. Applicants must be registered Home Care Aide with the California DSS, have a recent TB test, pass a background check, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must be a current HCA registered with the California Department of Social Services.
• TB test within the last 24 months.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance to senior clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Assist with light housekeeping duties such as laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
• Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote emotional well-being.
• Monitor and document client progress, changes in condition, and report to supervisors as necessary.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, and mobility aids as needed.
• Offer companionship and ensure a positive, safe, and caring environment for each client.
