Job summary

Seniors Helping Seniors Ozarks is hiring in-home caregivers to provide companionship and homemaker support for seniors in the Ozarks area. The role involves compassionate care in the client’s home and adherence to care plans established by SHS.

Responsibilities include companionship, light housekeeping, errands, meal prep, medication reminders, and occasional transportation. A positive, empathetic attitude and strong reliability are essential for delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide Companionship
• Assist with Light Housekeeping such as laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, etc…
• Shopping and Errands
• Meal Preparation
• Medication Reminders
• Pet Care
• Light Yard Work
• Light Handyman Services
• Overnight Supervision
• Incidental Transportation to doctor’s appointments, family, or their favorite restaurant
• Arrive on Time for all Services
• Caregivers may be contacted by management outside of standard office hours when coverage is needed for open shifts.
• Maintain documentation of all services provided
• Record and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance to our office staff
• Communicate regularly and proactively with our office staff
• Participate in relevant in-service opportunities and other informational meeting when possible
• Clock in and out using our care management system
