Job summary

Seniors Helping Seniors Ozarks in-home care is hiring compassionate caregivers to brighten the lives of seniors in Springfield, Nixa, Ozark, Republic, Battlefield, Rogersville and Willard.

As a SHS caregiver you will provide companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, medication reminders and personal care in the client’s home, with a flexible schedule and pay of $16 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide Companionship
• Assist with Light Housekeeping such as laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, etc…
• Shopping and Errands
• Meal Preparation
• Medication Reminders
• Pet Care
• Light Yard Work
• Light Handyman Services
• Overnight Supervision
• Incidental Transportation to doctor’s appointments, family, or their favorite restaurant
• Arrive on Time for all Services
• Caregivers may be contacted by management outside of standard office hours when coverage is needed for open shifts.
• Maintain documentation of all services provided
• Record and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance to our office staff
• Communicate regularly and proactively with our office staff
• Participate in relevant in-service opportunities and other informational meeting when possible
• Clock in and out using our care management system
