Job summary

Oakmont Management Group, operating Ivy Living communities in California, Hawaii, Colorado, and Nevada, is seeking a compassionate Care Provider to support residents with daily living activities and personalized care plans. You will help residents with ADLs, monitor changes, and maintain a safe, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Vaccinate as required by regulatory guidelines and wear PPE to prevent disease spread.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in ADLs as per care plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence).
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while preserving dignity and safety.
• Report any change in condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe environment for staff, residents, and guests following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork and cooperative interactions with coworkers and other departments.
