Job summary

Glen Park Senior Living at Valley Village is seeking compassionate Caregivers to assist our residents in daily living activities and create a supportive environment where they can thrive.

As a Direct Care Staff member, you will support elderly residents with daily living activities, help maintain a clean living environment, and participate in nutrition, personal care, and social aspects of residents' lives. Training includes CPR/First Aid and ongoing in-services.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and dedicated caregiver abilities.
• Ability to assist elderly residents with daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Daily Living Support: assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting.
• Meal assistance: help serve meals and snacks as needed.
• Activities Program Participation: support the facility’s activities to enhance quality of life.
• Ongoing Training: attend monthly and quarterly in-services totaling one hour per month and twelve hours per year.
• Certifications: maintain CPR and First Aid training.
• For Residents with Developmental Disabilities: align performance with IPP, complete specialized training, achieve IPP goals, maintain progress notes.
