Job summary

Ecumen Pathstone in Mankato, MN is hiring a Resident Assistant to join our caring team. This role provides personal care and documents services to support residents' physical and emotional well-being, following the schedule and supporting independence.

Part-time daytime shift (6a-2:15p) across various weekdays, with every other weekend and holiday. Targeted pay is $19–$22/hour; onsite training and a comprehensive benefits package are provided based on hours worked.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written.
• Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures including HIPAA.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience with seniors preferred.
• CNA certification or Home Health Aide preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, bathing, grooming, eating, toileting, mobility and transferring.
• Provide morning and evening care, including oral hygiene and incontinence care.
• Help with assistive devices such as glasses and hearing aids.
• Administer medications and treatments as delegated by RN or Clinical Director.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition.
• Encourage resident independence and self-care.
• Collaborate with team in a fast-paced environment.
• Complete light cleaning tasks and support resident activities.
• Respond promptly to safety hazards and calls.
