Job summary

Sittercity is helping a Oakland family find a caregiver for an elderly father living at home. The role involves about 10 hours per week with flexibility for changes, assisting with daily routines and comfort in a familiar home setting.

duties include light housekeeping, meal prep, companionship through walks or wheelchair outings, and helping transfer him with his wheelchair. Experience with eldercare is preferred; a kind, thoughtful, reliable person is sought.

Responsibilities

• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship including walks and wheelchair rides.
• Help my mother and I with transferring him in and out of a wheelchair, dressing and feeding.
• Support feeding and clothing him as needed.
• Assist with basic caregiving tasks and safety at home.

Duties would include light housekeeping, some meal prep, companionship (walks and wheelchair rides outside). Help my mother and I feed him, cloth him, help transferring him in and out of wheelchair.
