Job summary

Trilogy Health Services is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide a full range of speech-language pathology services in an interdisciplinary environment. You will assess, plan and implement therapy to improve communication and swallowing, and educate patients and families about disorders and techniques.

Education: Master’s degree; licensure in the state; CCC-SLP preferred or required; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).
• 0-1 years of experience.
• State SLP licensure required.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred or required.
• Current CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders through clinical assessments, standardized tests, and patient interviews.
• Develops and implements individualized therapy plans based on assessment findings, setting measurable goals to address patients' specific needs.
• Provides therapy to improve patients’ communication skills, including articulation, language comprehension, voice modulation, and fluency, as well as swallowing and feeding abilities.
• Educates patients and their families about the nature of disorders, therapy techniques, and strategies to support progress and enhance communication and swallowing in daily life.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.
