Job summary

Responsibilities

• Records and reports observed symptoms, reactions, treatments, and changes to supervisor and physician.
• Assists in admission, discharge, and transfer of residents.
• Assists physicians with examinations, treatments, tests, and rounds.
• Ensures resident safety and assesses equipment needs.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and well-ventilated environment.
• Delivers medications using the Five Rights and documents on the MAR.
• Participates in mandatory in-services and staff meetings.
• Maintains thorough documentation of resident care (charting, incidents, meds, treatments).
• Upholds high standards for residents, visitors, and community.
