Job summary

Renewal Rehab is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to support seniors in skilled nursing and post-acute care settings. In this on-site role, you will deliver evidence-based interventions under the direction of a Physical Therapist to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.

You will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, maintain accurate documentation, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering PTA services in skilled nursing and post-acute care.
• Ability to implement evidence-based interventions under PT supervision.
• Comfort collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based interventions under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Help improve mobility, strength, balance and functional independence.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists and other team members.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and exercises.
