Oakmont Management Group operates Oakmont of Simi Valley, a premier senior living community. The Care Provider delivers personal assistance and daily care to residents, supporting independence and quality of life in line with our mission and values.

The position offers flexible shifts (full-time, part-time, on-call) with benefits including health coverage, vacation, meals, and retirement options. Applicants must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, and pass background and health screenings.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal communication with staff, supervisors, physicians, residents, and families.
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests (physical and TB).
• May require vaccination and PPE per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) per care plans (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence).
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Communicate observed changes to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork and cooperation with coworkers and other departments.
